The Parents’ Forum for Children with Disabilities in Rochdale, Heywood, Middleton and Pennine was started in 2003 by a small group of parents who wanted to make a difference. Over the years the forum has provided information and training to both families and professionals. The Forum has built a reputation as a group which works co-productively with both parents and professionals to bring about positive change.

In 2018 the Parents’ Forum became a Community Interest Company and the name was changed to The Parent Carers Voice. We are part of a Regional and National network of parent carer forums.
